Invention from Neccessity

It’s been ten years since I was last here. A lot has changed in Jessore, Khulna and Satkhira. There are more shops in what used to be the sleepy Khulna neighborhood of Khalispur.

Much has happened in Jessore and Satkhira too. Business is booming in all kinds of shops from furniture to clothing. New hotels have sprung up and more fish are being farmed in freshly dug ponds. But many things haven’t changed.

Quay Asia Website

It’s taken slightly more time than we anticipated. But as you can see our Web site is up and running.

In the end we decided to develop the site in house. It gave us an opportunity to get in touch with some of the latest thinking in social media. And that’s been useful for those of us that didn’t grow up with smart phones, tablets and social media apps.

So for some words of thanks.

We appreciate Morten Rand-Hendriksen and his video lessons on Web site design at Lynda.com.

Thanks also to Bigstock for many of the images we’ve used on the site.

And of course thanks to the WordPress Project.

We’ll be adding more material and features to keep things current. And of course we’d like to interact with you through the site.
