No Roundup this Week

Sorry, there’s no roundup of the news this week.

But have a read of our other posts this week.

Jesmin talks about her experience of the recent Bandarban food festival.

And we reflect on Quay Asia’s approach to employment.

The next roundup of news about employment and workforce development will be on 8th December.

Last week was Eid in Bangladesh.

So we won’t be writing our weekly round up of articles about employment, the labour market, skills training and workforce development this week.

The next round up will be for the week ending 14th July.

Eid Mubarak.

Quay Asia Website

It’s taken slightly more time than we anticipated. But as you can see our Web site is up and running.

In the end we decided to develop the site in house. It gave us an opportunity to get in touch with some of the latest thinking in social media. And that’s been useful for those of us that didn’t grow up with smart phones, tablets and social media apps.

So for some words of thanks.

We appreciate Morten Rand-Hendriksen and his video lessons on Web site design at Lynda.com.

Thanks also to Bigstock for many of the images we’ve used on the site.

And of course thanks to the WordPress Project.

We’ll be adding more material and features to keep things current. And of course we’d like to interact with you through the site.
